Codi Crabtree, APRN-CNP, specializes in family medicine. Before Codi furthered her education to become a provider, she worked as a nurse for nearly 20 years in the Tulsa area. She said, “I worked with a physician who encouraged me to go back to school. He is now a dear friend, and I will forever be grateful for him believing in me.”
Now, when it comes to building relationships with patients, Codi says it’s important to meet people on the same level. She adds, “When we understand a person’s situation and perspective, it is easier to find common ground and workable solutions.”
She also emphasizes the importance to patients that mental health is just as important as physical health.
Codi’s education includes:
• Master of Science in nursing (MSN) at Purdue University Global, 2022
• Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO), 2005
When Codi isn’t working at the clinic, she can be found enjoying a peaceful day in the comfort of her own home. “I enjoy spending time with my husband, three children, three dogs, one cat and one spoiled hen,” she said.
