Kala Gaydos, APRN-CNP, practices ear, nose & throat (ENT) care with Dr. Scott Reeder. She has been a health care professional in the Tulsa area since 2009.
Kala works closely with each patient to meet a desired health care goal. “My role as your provider is to accurately formulate a diagnosis, educate you on that diagnosis and provide options for treatment according to evidence-based medicine,” she explains. “Together, we’ll move forward with the best plan of action designed specifically for you.”
Kala is passionate about providing care. “The first thing that comes to mind when I think of ENT is improving the quality of life of others,” she says. “It’s very exciting and fulfilling as a health care provider.”
She takes a variety of factors into consideration when providing your care. “The picture of perfect health is complex due to the mental and physical components,” she says. “The status of your health is determined by your family history, environmental factors, social and lifestyle habits, self-coping mechanisms and more.”
“Being healthy is a goal we should all work towards,” she continues. “It takes many tiny steps, habits and decisions to make a single change in one aspect of health. My goal for you is to make changes in your small choices and routines so that later, we see a big improvement in your overall health.”
Kala earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at the University of Oklahoma in 2009. She received a Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of Oklahoma Nurse Practitioner Program in 2012.
Kala’s personal interests include spending time with her family. She and her husband Mike and have three children – Tinley, Taylor and Travis. They spend their time at the lake, being physically active, enjoying outdoor activities and loving Jesus.
