5 Simple Exercises to Start a Home Workout Routine

Mo Smith of Bailey Bariatrics shares simple, low-impact exercises and goal-setting tips for people starting a fitness routine at home.

Getting started with exercise does not require a gym or high-intensity workout. Mo Smith, an exercise expert with Bailey Bariatrics, recommends setting a clear goal, making a plan and beginning with short 10-to-15-minute sessions.

Smith recommends scheduling workout time on a calendar and sticking with it. Goals can range from preparing for a 5K or building strength to simply becoming more active or losing weight.
