Corrie Alberty, BSN, RN has been the risk manager at Bailey Medical Center for the past five years. She started at Bailey in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), after working in adult ICUs at two downtown Tulsa hospitals. Cole Dunbar graduates with his master’s degree in health care administration in May of 2023. He has been working at Bailey as operational specialist and security director for about two years.

There is a three-letter word Jamie McCann, DPT, clinic director at Bailey Medical Center (BMC), uses to describe what transpires between her staff and physical therapy patients. It’s a term that might throw a wrench into the preconceived notions about physical therapy.

“It’s fun in here and that always surprises people,” McCann said. “Many times, we’ll have people who didn’t want to come in because they expect to do all these things they don’t want to do. And 99% of our patients come in and are more pleasantly surprised.”

Patty Griffin, RN, radiology, will dress in her scrubs for the final time at Bailey Medical Center (BMC) next month, 44 years to the day she began her nursing career.

Griffin, a member of BMC’s original staff when it was erected in 2006, started her journey in the health care industry before she even had a license to drive.

“It’s very bittersweet,” Griffin said in describing her pending retirement. “I’ve loved it.”
